We are a new nonprofit charitable community organization serving the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area. Our mission, generally, is relief of the poor, the distressed, and the underprivileged. We are here to help in any way we can.
You may be wondering why we need A STRONG CITY. The answer is clear:
A STRONG CITY is the formalization of the work our founder has been undertaking for about the last three years as an Ordained Minister. Just some of those activities include legislative, legal, and disability advocacy; investigating and report fraud; providing direct support to the elderly, disabled, and other vulnerable populations; technology consultation, introduction, and support; housing advocacy and benefits counseling; community resource linkage and referrals; and peer and pastoral counseling.
A STRONG CITY is registered with the Ohio Attorney General as a charitable organization and certified by the Ohio Secretary of State’s office to do business as a domestic nonprofit corporation.
Our next step is to register with the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity. We are counting on the support of the community to do that. Please donate to the cause using using AStrongCity.com.
Big things are planned to help our brothers and sisters still living on the streets, left out in the cold literally and figuratively, without housing or living in substandard conditions.
